20 degress below zero didn't hinder it, only organized a bit more work.
Dancing Fountains delivered a water show for the City of Espoo’s New Year’s Eve celebration in Tapionpuisto. Extreme winter conditions, with temperatures dropping to –25°C, placed exceptional demands on the water systems and technical execution. Through careful design, programming and on-site show control, the water effects remained operational throughout the performance, even as ice formed around the pumps. The result was a visually striking and reliably executed water show in demanding conditions.
Although delivering a water show in winter conditions and temperatures at –25°C may sound extreme, the circumstances made the project particularly interesting. Despite the challenges, the show was successfully delivered, attracted thousands of spectators, and demonstrated that water effects can perform reliably even in demanding winter environments.
20 degress below zero didn't hinder it, only organized a bit more work.
Desipite freezing weather the audience was present in large numbers at each performance.
A video of the event is available on the Dancing Fountains YouTube channel.
